Dear members of the ISCS and civic groups:
We are pleased to let you know that our autumn
conference schedule is finally completed. Please take a good look at
the whole program and preapare to attend the conference with keen interest
in many of the jewel-like works.
When: Oct 6 (Sat) 10:00 a.m.- 18:00 p.m.
Where: HUFS (Hankuk U. of Foreign Studies) Prof. Hall, Lecture rm., Seminar rm.
We also have in the morning session a special forum which features
a talk supporting Chomsky's repetition techniques in learning theory
on the one hand, and another talk which seriously assails Chomsky's
approach to linguistics and suggests an alternative view.
All in all, the works here in the program deserve your attention. We ask,
therefore, the pleasure of your company in the conference. Thank you

이번 10월 6일 토요일 10시 부터
한국외국어대학교 교수회관 2층 강연실과 세미나실에서
국제촘스키학회 가을학술발표회가 있습니다.
첨부된 program을 보시면 알겠지만, 주옥같은 작품들이
발표될 예정이어서 많은 시민단체의 관심과 주목을 받을 것으로
사료됩니다. 특히 오전 session에는 The Chomskyan Revolution and
Repetition Techniques라는 논문이 발표되고, 바로 이어서 몇 십년동안 전세계에서
풍미하고 있는 촘스키의 언어이론에 정면으로 반기의 기치를
내걸고 대안 언어학을 제시하는 논문발표도 있는 등 촘스키와
직,간접적으로 관계를 맺고 있는 현대인에게 많은 issue를 제공할 것 같아
우리의 마음을 설레게하고 있습니다. 아무쪼록 많이 참석해주시는 것이
우리를 돕는 것이니까 오셔서 좋은 말씀도 나누고 학문교류의 풍성한 장소를 만들어
주시기를 바랍니다. 촘스키학회 회원님과 시민단체 위에 언제나 영광이
